Three differences in marketing products and services to businesses rather than consumers are the fact that customers put a lot of emotions when buying a product while businesses tend to put less emotion in when buying a product; when consumers are shopping they shop for themselves to keep, when a company shops, they sell their products; also a consumer is shopping they consider thing they like for instance; quality and other features but companies shop for consumers and things they like and is in demand not what they like (Boundless, 2016).

Learning market.com,(2016)states difference between B2B and B2C marketing are based on the buyers’ emotional perspective about the purchase. decisions are made by customers based on status, security, comfort and quality. decisions made by business buyers are mounted on increasing profitability, reducing costs and enhancing productivity. If you are a B2B business offering products and services to other businesses, put your marketing dollars into marketing programs and materials that offer your target what they need to make a rational buying decision
